Our first strawberries of the season were ready yesterday, so we went out to the strawberry patch and picked the ripe ones - 6 in all. I planted "Seascape" strawberries - they are everbearers, and should provide small amounts of fruit until September.
Here is the strawberry patch, but Liam is more interested in trying to grab a tall stalk of grass:

Next, we'll be eating radishes from the garden... the first batch are almost ready!

Yay for you!!! You're own strawberries. I like mine with chocolate syrup on top, I know, defeats the purpose.
