6 month statistics

I nearly forgot to share Liam's latest statistics! On Friday May 25 he had his 6 month appointment with the pediatrician. He now weighs 16lbs 10oz (40th percentile) and is 26in long (50th percentile). That's great progress for a baby who started out so small! His next appointment will be when he is 9 months old.

We saw a different pediatrician in the office - she is Dutch and I really liked her. Her facial features and accent reminded me of my Mom and her family. I will be requesting her from now on! She said that Liam is a very healthy little boy, and also said she was glad to see that we had not had him circumcised. She said it is becoming less common these days.

Liam is also sitting up pretty well now, but of course he topples over after a few minutes. He was trying to scoot around on his belly today, and a few times he pushed himself backwards instead of forwards. And of course he rolls around quite well... we need to get going on child-proofing the house!

YAY for a great appt! I bet it is so nice hearing a Dr. say that he is a healthy little boy. I loved the pics from Memorial Day.
