Getting ready to crawl!

This picture is from June 10th... when I woke up Sunday morning and looked in the monitor... this is what I saw! Liam was awake and on all fours, so I went into his room to take a picture. Go baby!

Bathtime Baby in his new tub

GM bought a tub for Liam so we could bathe him more easily (thanks, GM!) He hated it at first, but now that he can sit up on his own he spends his time splashing and playing with his tub toys. After this bath, Adam was soaked because Liam splashed so much! It was great to see him finally enjoy a bath!

Liam was enthralled by Adam brushing his teeth this morning, so when he was done Adam gave the toothbrush to Liam.

Strawberries!

Our first strawberries of the season were ready yesterday, so we went out to the strawberry patch and picked the ripe ones - 6 in all. I planted "Seascape" strawberries - they are everbearers, and should provide small amounts of fruit until September.

Here is the strawberry patch, but Liam is more interested in trying to grab a tall stalk of grass:

In other news, Liam has some new favorite sounds: "buzz, buzz, buzz" (as I make Buzz-Bee fly and land on his chest), and "pizza! pizza! pizza!" Both make him laugh hysterically - I have no idea why "pizza" is so funny, but it is his new favorite sound. If he's having a melt-down, I just have to squeal "pizza!" at him, and he melts into giggles. If only adults were amused so easily, life would be so much simpler!
