Today Mommy did toddler crafts with Liam to keep him happy - he has a little cold and has been pretty grumpy.

October Birthday Bash

On Sunday we celebrated four October birthdays!

Aunt Niki, Aunt Leesa, GM, and Graham were all October babies!

Liam enjoying an adult-looking beverage (my Dad came over to dinner and when the wine was poured, Liam wanted to join in... so we gave him pear juice in a little glass. I can't believe how well he drinks from stemware! It must be genetic :) ).

Graham's first day

Here are pictures from the day after Graham was born, taken while we were still in the hospital. We only stayed 24 hours in the hospital as we had the worst room on the ward (right by the waiting room and the entrance doors - and the room was NOT soundproof!) We got absolutely NO sleep - great for recovering after giving birth! Also for some reason they did not bring me a single meal - I had to complain at every meal, until I gave up at dinner time because the food was so awful anyway.

The highlight of the otherwise horrid hospital stay was visits from family... here are the pics!
